Brender Canyon 100-yr old Historic Farmhouse and Vineyard
Chef Ludger and Julie own a 20-acre farm and vineyard planted with over 1,000 Sangiovese, Syrah, and Merlot grape vines last year. Now we’ve added five feisty chickens to the mix and are planning some Spring & Summer weekend overnight wine dinners and other local vineyard tours. Hook It & Cook It—Sitka Style May 18th-23rd There’s still room for reservations on Ludger’s annual fishing expedition with Angling Unlimited in Sitka. It’s the excitement of sport fishing combined with the best of gourmet sea food preparation… Chef Ludger returns in 2010, so expect more dazzling cooking displays and multi-course fish dinners. On four evenings in a row, the chef will prepare appetizers and main courses from the fish you caught that day. Expect a spirited discussion between the chef and the students on fish cookery, fishing, politics, and life in general. Great eating, great fun, and, if you pay attention, you’ll return home with the skills to impress family and friends.
